Variety Overview & Commercial Potential
White Button Mushroom (Agaricus bisporus) is the undisputed king of commercial mushroom farming across India, the USA, and Europe. It is grown inside high-tech, climate-controlled environmental chambers utilizing PUF insulated panels and automated chiller / air handler units (AHUs). Cultivating button mushrooms requires strict compost formulation using pasteurized wheat straw or paddy straw fortified with nitrogen boosters. For optimal yield, adding a 3–4 cm casing layer of pasteurized peat moss, coco peat, or well-rotted cow manure is critical for pinhead induction.
Growers can master complete Phase-I and Phase-II composting through our commercial mushroom farming training, procure pure laboratory-certified Button mushroom spawn & seeds, and set up modern commercial AC farm setups tailored for round-the-year harvest. It commands stable market demand from local wholesale mandis, premium hotels, supermarket chains, and food processing canning plants.
